Monastir like any other Tunisia cities introduces you to the food culture of its city. There are some excellent restaurants in Monastir serving you with refined local Tunisian,
Mediterranean and other international cuisines which satisfy your appetite as well as taste. The food served in the restaurants is reasonably priced and are usually prepared using fresh ingredients like fresh vegetables, fish and meat. There are numerous regional specialties such as fish soup called ‘� la sfaxienne’ or rice called ‘a la djerbienne’ in Monastir.
